Adult Confirmation are for Catholics over 18 and have received Baptism and 1st Eucharist. After preparation, Adults should be ready to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation. The Rite of Confirmation for adults will be celebrated in various larger churches int he Archdiocese of Galveston Houston on or around Pentecost each year.
The Holy Hour overnight vigil for life will take place on the night of January 19-20, 2023, from 8pm – 8am. The event will consist of Eucharistic Adoration and will occur concurrently with the Vigil for Life taking place in Washington, D.C. at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception. (This event takes place each year on the evening before the National March for Life; in 2023, the U.S. Bishops have asked all dioceses to host all-night adoration concurrently). In support of the National Day of Prayer for the Legal Protection of the Unborn, there will be a Mass on Monday, January 23 beginning at 8:30 AM with Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament immediately afterwards until 11:00 AM. The Mass on Tuesday, January 24, 2023, will still be celebrated.

The Monday Messenger Ministry is hosting an Ascension Press video study: What We Believe: The Beauty of the Catholic Faith beginning January 25, 2023. The study will begin at 5:30 with a meal and continue with the study at 6:00 p.m.
